Reflection: I was expecting to find more animal life within and surrounding our tree. Only a few of my predictions were accurate. I may have been able to find more life but for ethical reasons I did not want to cause too much disruption to the wildlife. The most active form of life in our tree were small black ants. The bite marks on the leaves of the tree most likely suggests that the ants feed on the leaves. Although I never saw any birds in the tree, there was feacal evidence of their presence.
